will eliminate the virus</strong> <strong>in your
throat and stomach, where the acid will kill it.</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth</strong>: <strong>it is good to stay hydrated, but there is no scientific evidence that drinking water can protect you from coronavirus.</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2. Myth: COVID-19 can be transmitted in the areas with hot and humid climates</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth:</strong> <strong>Coronavirus can be transmitted across the planet. It will not settle in the Northern Hemisphere as the weather gets warmer in spring and summer.</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>3. Myth: COVID-19 can be transmitted through mosquitos</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth: coronavirus is a respiratory virus</strong> <strong>that can spread</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>any person sneezing, or coughing, or from nose discharge, or saliva</strong>. <strong>There is</strong> <strong>no evidence</strong> <strong>that it can be</strong> <strong>transmitted through mosquitos</strong>.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>4. Myth: COVID-19 can be prevented by eating Garlic</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth: Garlic has antimicrobial and good for the immune system, but there is no evidence that eating garlic can protect you from getting coronavirus.</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>5</strong>. <strong>Myth: COVID-19 can be prevented by spraying alcohol and chlorine all over your body</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth: spraying such substances will not kill viruses that have already entered in your body. Spraying alcohol and chlorine can be harmful to your clothes, eyes, and mouth. Always use them under appropriate recommendations. </strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>6. Myth: COVID-19 can be killed with an ultraviolet disinfection Lamp </strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth: Ultraviolet rays should not be used to sterilize hands or other areas of skin as UV radiation can cause skin irritation. </strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>7. Myth: COVID-19 can be detected by using Thermal scanners</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth: Thermal scanners cannot detect people who are infected but are not yet ill with fever. Because it takes 2 to 10 days before people who are infected become sick and develop a fever. </strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>8. Myth: COVID-19 can only affect older people</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth: People of all ages can become infected with the coronavirus. Older people or with pre-existing medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease are at more risk of becoming seriously ill with the virus.</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>9. Myth: COVID-19 can be prevented by taking a hot bath</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth: taking a warm bath will not prevent you from catching coronavirus. Our normal body temperature ranges from 36.5 C to 37 C, regardless of the temperature of your shower.</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>10. Myth: the vaccine is available to cure COVID-19</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Truth: To date, there
are no vaccines for coronavirus. Scientists are working on it, but it will take
several months to develop a safe and effective vaccine for humans.</strong></p>
