Made in India ‘Jeep Wrangler launched in India, premium SUV prices start at 53.9 lakhs

Jeep India started production in February at the Ranjangaon plant in Pune. This premium SUV is available for sale across the country.

Jeep India launched its fully premium Made in India Jeep Wrangler in the Indian market. The company is offering an ex-showroom price of Made in India Jeep Wrangler at Rs 53.9 lakh. The company started Jeep Wrangler production at the Ranjangaon plant in Pune in February. This premium SUV is available for sale across the country from March 17.

Made in India Jeep Wrangler SUV will be available in two variants- Unlimited and Rubicon at Rs 53.9 lakh and Rs 57.9 lakh respectively. Both variants of the Wrangler are equipped with a BS-VI compliant 2-liter turbo petrol engine and an 8-speed automatic gearbox which produces a power of 268 hp and a torque of 400 Nm.

The company claims that the 4X4 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is meant for off-road travel. It offers 217 mm ground clearance and 760 mm water wedding capacity (able to drive up to the inside of water). Apart from this, its approach, departure, and break-over angle are 36 degrees, 31 degrees, and 21 degrees respectively.

Both the variants of Jeep Wrangler offer features such as leather seats, U Connect infotainment, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, steering mounted control, cruise control, engine stop/start, dual-zone air conditioning, and automatic headlamps.
