India’s renowned director Meghna Gulzar, known for her gritty storytelling in movies such as Raazi (2018) and Talvar (2015), has begun shooting for her next project titled Daayra. The film is the third collaboration with Junglee Pictures, which earlier supported Talvar and Raazi.
Daayra is being marketed as a riveting crime-drama having high-stakes plot that promises to reflect Meghna Gulzar’s trademark narrative style — realism, layered emotion, and strong performances.
