After some speculations over last 2-3 days, finally Royal Challengers Bangalore has announced South African Spearhead Dale Steyn as a replacement for injured Australian quick Nathan Coulter Nile who went. back to Australia after playing the series against Pakistan in Dubai.
As per team management Nathan Coulter Nile has opted out of the tournament due to a back niggle. While the 35 years old Dale Steyn last played for Gujarat Lions in IPL 2016 & is making a comeback after 3 years. Also, in this year’s auctions he went unsold. Steyn has previously played for the same franchise from 2008-2010.
Further, Steyn will only be available form 16 April which means he will miss the next two important games against Punjab & Mumbai.
