Hisar, [17 June 2025]— Under the expert mentorship of Er. Manmohan Singla, students of the Hisar Institute of Digital Marketing (HIDM) recently visited Vibes Restaurant, located in the prestigious Gymkhana Club, Hisar, for an insightful session on hospitality marketing and business operations. The visit was organized under the presence of Mr. Vivek Garg, owner of Vibes Restaurant, and coordinated smoothly by Ms. Ritika, restaurant manager, who ensured that students received a well-rounded learning experience.
As part of HIDM’s mission to bridge the gap between theory and practice, the visit aimed to expose students to the real-world application of digital marketing strategies in the food and beverage industry. With the hospitality industry being one of the fastest adopters of digital trends, the students had an opportunity to understand how restaurants are evolving in terms of branding, customer engagement, and online presence.
Mr. Vivek Garg, a passionate entrepreneur and hospitality expert, warmly welcomed the students and shared his journey of establishing and scaling Vibes as one of the city’s most vibrant and loved dining destinations. He highlighted how customer experience, ambience, and consistent service play a vital role in restaurant success, but it’s digital marketing that brings in visibility and customer reach in today’s age.
During the visit, students were given a walk-through of the restaurant’s different sections, including the kitchen area (as per guidelines), dining setup, and event hosting zones. They observed how hospitality staff is trained to handle service and how customer feedback is collected, both manually and digitally.
Ms. Ritika, the manager, helped students connect with various team members to understand their roles and how digital processes support everyday operations, from order management to promotion planning.
Mr. Manmohan Singla, mentor of HIDM, appreciated the initiative and shared, “Experiential learning like this is crucial. Understanding the back end of hospitality businesses allows our students to create better digital strategies tailored to real challenges.”
The visit concluded with a Q&A session, where students enthusiastically asked about launching and managing restaurant brands in a competitive market.
The entire experience left the students more confident and aware of the dynamic role that digital marketing plays in shaping customer experience and brand perception in the hospitality sector.
