Bathukamma mostly consists of flowers with medicinal values. The celebration of Bathukamma has been changed in Hyderabad and across the state. The main organiser of the festival is the Koya tribe which begins at Medaram in Tadvai. During 1995, from the gathering of 2000, almost 1500 were from Koya tribe. It is located in Kanchana Kruha (Cave) on Kurupathi Hills in Kurumurthy Village of Mahbubnagar District in Telangana. Important evas like Uddala Seva and Alankara Seva are conducted in this temple during the celebration of 19 days to offer prayers to the Almighty. It is believed that to please Goddess Sri Laksmi Devi, Lord Srinivasa manifested himself on Kurupathi hills when she asked him to make his presence felt on the hills and thus the Temple was made in magnificent architectural style in this holy place. Nagoba Jatara is also known as Keslapur Jatara is a tribal festival celebrated by Gond tribes in Keslapur village, Inderavelly Nandak Adilabad district, Telangana. This event begins in pushya Masam which is the second biggest tribal festival which is celebrated for 10 days by thousands of tribal people from several states apart from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana like Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orrisa and so on. During this 10 day festival, the tribal priests perform abhishekam to the idol of serpent god Nagoba situated in the temple of Keslapur with water from Godavari river.
