										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The BCCI announced Indian squad for upcoming tour of West Indies on 21 July 2019, which will be a month long, starting from 3rd August. The team will play 3 T20&#8217;s followed by 3 ODI&#8217;s &amp; 2 Test Matches. The limited overs side has been changed a bit as expected, because many senior players have been rested with some new &amp; old players coming in. While Ms.Dhoni has requested BCCI to give him a 2 months break so he can serve his Para-Military Regiment. </p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In early hours of the day today, the Indian Middle-Order batsman Ambati Rayudu retired form all forms of cricket with immediate. He announced his retirement through a official email to BCCI. It was confirmed by BCCI CEO Mr. Rahul Johri that Ambati has decided to hang his boots. Some reports suggest that Rayudu took this decision after he was overlooked to replace the injured Shikhar Dhawan &amp; Vijay Shankar.</p>



<p>Here is the email which Rayudu sent to the Board:</p>

<p><em>I would like to bring to your kind notice that I have come to decision to step away from the sport and retire from all forms and levels of the game. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the bcci and all the state associations that I have represented which include Hyderabad, Baroda, Andhra and Vidharbha. I also would like to thank the two IPL franchises MI and CSK for their support. It has been an honour and privilege to have represented our country. I would like to thank the captains I have played under, MS Dhoni,&nbsp;Rohit Sharma&nbsp;and especially&nbsp;Virat Kohli&nbsp;who always had shown great belief in me throughout my career with the Indian team. It has been a wonderful journey of playing the sport and learning from every up and down it brought up on for the last 25 years at various different levels. Finally I would like to thank my family and all the wellwishers who have been with me throughout this wonderful journey.&nbsp;</em></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today, the fixtures of India tour of Windies are announced today. The team is set to play 3 T20I&#8217;s, 3 ODI&#8217;s &amp; 2 Test Match Series which will be part of the World Test Championship. The Test series will be the 2nd one after England &amp; Australia Ashes Series to hold a World Test Championship status. The World Test Championship will be played among 9 sides and the final of which will be played at Lords, London in 2021.</p>



<p>The tour will kick-off with 2 T20I&#8217;s in Florida followed by 3rd in Guyana &amp; 1st ODI will also be played in Guyana. The last two matches of ODI Series will be played in Trinidad. The Test Series will start after a gap of one week with the First Test in Antigua and 2nd in Jamaica.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian opener has sustained a Thumb injury while batting and following it he didn&#8217;t came out to field in the game. Further Shikhar will be sent for a scan today for his sore thumb and final call on his fitness will be taken by Team Physio Patrick Farhat on the Thursday before the match against New Zealand.</p>



<p>Just In Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out for 3 Weeks due to a fracture to his thumb. He will not feature in games against New Zealand, Windies, England, Pakistan, Afghanistan. He has been awarded an honorary rank in the Indian Army.As per reports, he wore those gloves as a mark of tribute &amp; respect to the Indian Paramilitary &amp; Armed Forces. Then ICC asked him and BCCI to remove it as soon as possible.</p>



<p>This action by ICC has not been received by Indian Fans in a good-way, most of them are upset by this ruling. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In a trageic turn of events the South African Pacer Dale Steyn bowed out of the World Cup 2019 with a shoulder injury. This was supposed to be his last World Cup and ending on this note was not on cards. The shoulder injury was sustained during IPL when he was playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore as a replacement.</p>
<p>There is no official statement from Dale on his immediate future. This news was officially provided by the South African Team&#8217;s captain Faf Du Plessis. According to Du Plessis he was 60% fit before coming for World Cup and further he was adjugded 85% fit on Monday. Beuran Hendricks was named his replacement, the left-hander has taken 1 wicket in 2 matches so far after debuting in January this year.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today in early hours of the day some reports from BCCI emerged that Kedar Jadhav is fully fit and will take part in the upcoming World Cup which will be starting later this month. The 34 year old All-Rounder injured his shoulder during the Final League match of Chennai Super Kings against Kings XI Punjab in IPL.</p>



<p>The Indian Cricket Team&#8217;s Physio, Mr. Patrick Farhat has confirmed to BCCI about the Fitness of Kedar. They both worked together on kedar&#8217;s fitness &amp; injury for more than a week in Mumbai. Kedar is also one of the key members of the Indian Team due to his ability to bowl off-spin which adds an extra dimension to the Indian bowling while his contribution to the team has been immense with the bat. </p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 15-men squad for the upcoming 50 over World Cup which will be played in England &amp; Wales from 30 May 2019. The Chief Selector Mr. MSK Prasad along with other selectors &amp; Captain Virat Kohli decided upon the 15 players who will represent the country in the showpiece event. The Squad was announced later in the day with as many as 12 players already being confirmed because of their superb performance in previous year or so.</p>



<p>The team will be led by Virat Kohli with Rohit Sharma as his deputy &amp; Ms.Dhoni as the first choice wicket-keeper, while Jasprit Bumrah will lead the pace attack along with Mohammed Shami &amp; Bhuvneshwar Kumar as back-up. Kuldeep Yadav &amp; Yuzvendra Chahal as two preferred spin options &amp; Shikhar Dhawan at top with Rohit. Once again Hardik Pandya will play the critical role of All-Rounder &amp; finisher along with Kedar Jadhav, while KL.Rahul will act as backup-opener &amp; Vijay Shankar is set to act as the no. 4 for the team. Dinesh Karthik will be back-up keeper &amp; Ravindra Jadeja as back-up All-Rounder.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After some speculations over last 2-3 days, finally Royal Challengers Bangalore has announced South African Spearhead Dale Steyn as a replacement for injured Australian quick Nathan Coulter Nile who went. back to Australia after playing the series against Pakistan in Dubai. </p>



<p>As per team management Nathan Coulter Nile has opted out of the tournament due to a back niggle. While the 35 years old Dale Steyn last played for Gujarat Lions in IPL 2016 &amp; is making a comeback after 3 years. Also, in this year&#8217;s auctions he went unsold.  Steyn has previously played for the same franchise from 2008-2010. </p>
