February 23, Sunday Raahigiri Day was organized at the Police line colony, Barwala road for the very first time. Nodal officer DSP Ashok Kumar was the chief guest of the event. Raahgiri started with an inaugural prayer.

DSP Ashok Kumar said” Raahgiri is an event to create an amicable relationship between administration and civilians. It’s an open stage where anyone can come and perform. The cultural performances at Raahgiri were given by Haryanvi singer Raju Punjabi, Pardeep Boora, and Amit Dhull. Haryanvi songs sang by them forced Hisarians to dance on their toes where various school and residential children gave the fantabulous performances. Children from Nirmal Samaj Samiti gave the self-defense tips to all. During the event, Matka race, Lemon race, Judo Karate, and weight lifting competitions were also held.
