The trailer of the film begins with the Shayari between a loving couple. Then suddenly noises are seen from outside and people come out of their houses on the road. The trailer shows that people’s houses are set on fire and some people say that Kashmiri Pandits have to leave from here. The shikara is a story of Kashmiri Pandits who have to left their homes in the year 1990 and the unsurmountable obstacles that they had to face are finally revealed through this movie. It is a love story that survives even after 30 years of exile. The trailer of the film is really scary and emotional.
