Union Public service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) (II) 2021 exam. The UPSC CDS (II) 2021 online application has begun on August 4, 2021. The last date to apply online is August 24, 2021. Candidates who want to apply for the UPSC CDS(II) examination can apply online through the official site of UPSC on upsc.gov.in.

CDS is an exam organized by UPSC for the posts of  Indian Air Force Academy (IMA), Officer Training Academy (OTA), India Military Academy (IMA) & Indian Naval Academy (INA). This National Level Entrance exam is conducted twice a year, first in the Month of  February and second in the month of  November. UPSC CDS (II) 2021 will be conducted to fill up 339 posts in the organization under various courses.

Eligibility Criteria

• For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

• For Indian Naval Academy—Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

• For Air Force Academy—Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Application Fees

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using the net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.
