Update: IPL 2019 Injured Players

The IPL 2019 just commenced yesterday but over a few days some news of big players being injured coming out from all the IPL Team and newest inclusion to that are New Zealand Cricketer Adam Milne who plays for Mumbai Indians & South African Cricketer Lungisani Ngidi who plays for Chennai Super Kings. Adam Milne was injured a few weeks ago & Mumbai was awaiting confirmation on his availability but now he has been ruled out, also his fellow Mumbai Indian’s pacer Lasith Malinga will be unavailable & play in Srilanka in domestic One Day tournament in bid to qualify for playing in World Cup 2019. While Lungisani Ngidi got injured during the last ODI against in Srilanka & it was reported as a Grade II muscle strain.

Joining the list of injured players are uncapped Indian Pacers Shivam Mavi & Kamlesh Nagarkoti who got injured just 2 days before start of IPL & has been ruled out due to back injuries respectively, with KC Carriapa & Sandeep Warrier being roped in as their replacements by Kolkata Knight Riders. Also, their fellow Kolkata mate from South Africa Anrich Nortje has a shoulder injury & has been ruled out. Nortje has recently performed well fro South Africa & was expected to be a surprise weapon for Kolkata. While New Zealand Captain & Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain Kane Williamson has joined the team but is serving a shoulder injury.
