Wageningen University & Research

Erasmus University Rotterdam

This public university of higher education is located in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Named after theologian and humanist Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus, it was established in the year 1913. Earlier, it was known as the Netherland School of Commerce and has gone a name change several times before becoming the Erasmus University Rotterdam in the year 1973. The 7 faculties of the university focus on four areas i.e., culture, governance, health, and wealth. The staff of the university is also filled with prominent notable politicians and scientists such as the former prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende and Nobel laureate Jan Tinbergen.

Utrecht University

This higher education institution was founded in the year 1636 and is based in the Netherlands. Utrecht University is one of the Netherlands ’ most prestigious research universities. TU Delft also is known as the Delft University of Technology is a university in Delft, Netherlands. It was established in 1842 as Royal Academy and changed to the Delft University of Technology in 1986. The university of Netherlands has about 8 faculties and offers education in 16 Bachelors and over 35 Master’s programmes. The programmes focus on disciplines such as engineering, science, and design. Maastricht University is also known as UM. It is a public university located in Maastricht, Netherlands. It was founded in the year 1976 and is the 2nd youngest of the 13 Dutch universities. It offers education in Bachelors, Masters and PhD programmes in the English Language. VU Amsterdam admits students from national and foreign countries too.
