American International University, West Africa

American International University, West Africa is a private university in the Republic of Gambia. It is also referred to as AIUWA. The university came into presence in the year 2011. The university is situated in Banjul which is one of the largest towns in the Gambia. The university is comprised of six colleges such as the college of medicine, the college of nursing, the college of health Professionals, the College of Dentistry, the College of Pharmacy, and the College of Management and information technology. The university offers bachelor, master, and doctoral level programs related to various disciplines.

University of the Gambia

The University of the Gambia is a public university in the Republic of the Gambia for higher education. The University of the Gambia was founded in the year 1999. The university has several faculties or schools some of them are as follows: School of Agriculture and Environment Sciences, School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business and Public Administration, School of Education, School of Journalism and Digital Media, School of Engineering and Architecture, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, School of Information Technology and Communications, School of Graduate Studies and Research, etc. The university is situated in Sere Kunda one of the largest cities of the Republic of the Gambia. The university offers a wide range of courses at the graduate and post-graduate levels.

Euclid University

Euclid University is a global intergovernmental university in the Republic of Gambia. Euclid University came into presence in the year 2008. Euclid University is one of the most affordable public institution operating under international laws. The university offers various certificate, master, doctoral, and joint degree programs related to various disciplines such as Economics, International Relations, Engineering, Finance and Banking, health and Law and Jurisprudence, etc. The headquarters of the university is situated in the Republic of Gambia and in the Central African Republic. Euclid University in the Gambia is associated with many institutions such as the Association of African Universities, Academic Council on the United Nations Systems,  Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), etc.

International Open University

International Open University is a private university in the Gambia for higher education. International Open University was founded in the year 2007 by Bilal Philips who intended to make an institution that would provide online undergraduate and graduate programs. The former name of the university is Islamic Open University. The university offers various certificate level, undergraduate and graduate-level programs related to various disciplines such as Information technology, Education, Business Administration, psychology, Islamic Economics, and Islamic Studies. The university is a member of the Association of African Universities.

The Gambia College

Gambia College is an institution for higher education in the Republic of the Gambia. Gambia College was founded in the year 1978 by merging different institutions. The Gambia college has two campuses, one in Brikama having Schools of Agriculture, Education, and Public Health and another one in Banjul having the School of Nursing and Midwifery.  

Legacy University

Legacy University is a private university in the Republic of Gambia. Legacy University is comprised of four colleges like the College of Health Sciences (CHS), College of Agriculture, Engineering and Environmental Design (CAEED), College of Education & Social Sciences (CESS), College of Arts, Law, Administration and Management Sciences (CALAMS). The university offers a wide range of certificate, diploma, graduate, and master level degree programs related to various disciplines. The university is located in Banjul (capital city), Gambia.

International Community College

International Community College is a college in the Republic of the Gambia for higher education. International Community College is accredited by the National Accreditation & Quality Assurance Authority(NAQAA). The institution offers certificate, diploma, and advanced diploma courses in disciples such as Business Management, Human Resource Management, Computing & Information Technology, and Marketing. The college is situated in Serekunda city of Gambia.
