UNIVERSITIES IN ETHIOPIA: EDUCATION IN ETHIOPIA
4 months ago
Education in Ethiopia is mainly divided into two systems- The Christian system (the traditional one) and the Islam system. Both systems include primary and secondary education for the students while higher education is mainly governed by the government and all the students from both the system get into the choice of the university they have opted for depending on their course. The literacy rate here is quite poor as compared to other countries in Africa with a literacy rate of 49.1 % by the end of 2015. Though the government has taken reforms, there are still concerns about education in Ethiopia.
