On behalf of UGC, NTA- The National testing agency conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and Colleges.

Today, Union education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal in a tweet announced that NTA will conduct the UGC-NET exam for JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor from May 2 to 17, 2021.

Interested candidates can see the details in the information bulletin on UGC-NET December 2020 cycle (May 2021) available on the website www.nta.ac.in and https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in from February 2, 2021. The candidates who want to apply for the UGC-NET exam can apply online from February 2 till March 2. The last date to deposit the fee is March 3.
