Tata Motors is planning to launch electric vehicles in the year 2020. The company will launch electric version of its Altroz premium hatchback and for this, the company has now introduced new technology and powertrain. The company has named this new powertrain “Ziptron”, the way the company calls the petrol engine as Revotron and the diesel powertrain as Revotorq.

Tata Motors CEO and MD, Guenter Butschek said, “We are proud to offer the new state-of-the-art technology brand ZIPTRON, which we designed in-house through the Global Engineering Network. Our Future EV line In UP, this technology offers a thrilling driving experience to our customers. We have tested about 1 million km of ZIPTRON technology so that we can decide whether it is a Vance and reliable. With this technology, we will bring a new wave Imobiliti in India and Electric will accelerate in the round of vehicles, which is a vision of government.

With the introduction of the Altroz ​​EV, Ziptron technology will be used by Tata’s upcoming range. It uses advanced lithium-ion cells and is capable of travelling 250 kilometres on a single charge. The battery pack is liquid-cooled and used solid IP67 CAS to keep its strength fast. The company says that the Battery Management System (BMS) has been designed for the external battery life of up to 8 years so that its performance remains stable.
