In a blog post, Snapchat mentioned that it is introducing Spotlight to share short-form videos like Instagram reels and TikTok.

Now users can share videos and stories directly to spotlight and gain followers. To earn money on Spotlight, the user must be above 16 years of age and the Snaps submitted to Spotlight must follow the content guidelines and terms of Snapchat.

This new feature Spotlight of Snapchat is available starting in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and France, with more countries coming soon.
