“Real Queen Fix Each Other’s Crown,” wrote Pooja Bhatt on Twitter while sharing the trailer of her new web series ‘Bombay Begums’. ‘Bombay Begums’ is directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and will mark the comeback of Pooja Bhatt after a long break.

Bombay Begums is going to release on Netflix on International women’s Day, March 8. Netflix also shared the Bombay Begums Trailer.

Bombay Begums is a web series that revolves around five women, (featuring Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, Aadhya  Anand, and Plabita Borthakur) of different generations who are struggling with their ethics, desires, and vulnerabilities. The series is about how these brave women find their identity despite all odds and end up being friends. Bombay begums is written and directed by AlankritaShrivastav, who has earlier directed Lipstick Under My Burkha.

Earlier in July 2020, the first look of the Bombay Begums was out.
