This corporate social responsibility campaign started by Razer, as a part of their effort to combat COVID-19 pandemic. Razer named this campaign #RAZER_FOR_LIFE. This initiative is taken the address the shortage of masks in Southeast Asia.

Razer company is known for its gaming gears such as keyboard, mouse, headsets, laptops and many more. The company has already placed a fully automatic face mask production line in Singapore. Company officially published a blog on this initiative in which the company has written that “Razer has committed plans to set up Singapore’s first fully automated mask production and packing line. This is to alleviate the severe shortage of masks faced around the world, particularly in the Southeast Asia region”.

These face masks produced by Razer will be made to observe the highest standards and assembled in a highly controlled environment (certified from international standards) and address issues faced by many face masks in the market that are not properly manufactured, do not meet proper certifications and offer little to no protection to the users.

The company will run a beta test from May 12, 2020, to June 2, 2020, with a full-scale deployment to follow after the Circuit Breaker measures are eased. Company is estimating up to 5 Million masks will be given out through this campaign. Local Singaporeans can collect their masks from #RazerforLife vending machines by just a simple verification on company’s Razer Pay App.
