A day before the 72nd Republic Day of India, The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi interacted with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) awardees via video conferencing. It is given the name Bal Samvad with PM.

Every year, children are awarded with Rashtriya Bal Puraskar who have done exceptional work in diverse fields. This year 32 recipients are from 21 States and Union territories.

Prime Minister on Monday interacted with these awardees and said that this year’s awards are special as the recipient earned them in the difficult times of Corona.  He said when children got involved in campaigns like wash your hands during Corona time, the campaigns caught the attention of people and achieved success.

When a small idea is supported by the right action, results are impressive. You all are advised not to rest after getting this award and must continue to strive for better results in your lives, said PM Modi to all recipients.

The Prime Minister asked three pledges from children, first, pledge of Consistency, second, pledge for the country, third, the pledge of humility.
