People danced to dandiya beats at Sanskriti’s Eco-friendly Dussehra and Dandiya fest

Yesterday “Sanskriti- Humari Pehchan” group’s Eco-friendly Dussehra and Dandiya 2019 event was organized with great enthusiasm at Flamingo. A large number of people enjoyed the festival by reaching out and celebrated the eco-friendly Dussehra. Along with elders, children also participated in it with great exhilaration. Stalls were put up for the women empowerment for the promotion of rural skilled women.
The event was started with lamp lightening by the Chief Guest former Minister Smt. Savitri Jindal with other distinguished guests Pratima Gupta, Rekha Aren, Shakuntala Rajliwala, Monika Sardana, and Pankaj Sandhir. The special attraction was eco-friendly Dussehra celebration where demon Ravana was not burnt, but people were encouraged to take an oath to sacrifice their evil habits. Members of the group gave splendid performances. The energy level of the people came to the fore when they reached the dance floor with dandiya sticks in the hand.
The best Sanskriti couple, best Sanskriti queen, Best dandiya super kid and Best Sanskriti family awards were also given during the program. Founder member Vinita Jain, Renu Lahoria, Sakshi paul, Taruna Dhanda, Rekha Kedia, executive member Kanika Chaudhary, Daisy Ahlawat, Radha Bharat Jain, Ruchika Bindal, Shalini Aggarwal, Vidhi Kedia, Sonika Poonia, and Madhu Madan were present there.
