For Android users, Netflix has added a new partial downloads feature. As the name implies, this function allows users to watch partially downloaded shows until they are completely downloaded. This wasn’t possible earlier since partially downloaded content couldn’t be watched offline until it was fully downloaded.

Company in its latest blog mentioned, “We always want to make it easier for members to access their favorite series or movies regardless of language, device, connectivity, or location. So partial downloading is now available on Android phones and tablets, and we’ll begin testing on iOS in the coming months. That’s the download on Netflix’s latest improvement – for now.

Netflix’s partial downloads feature takes its offline download feature a step further by allowing users to watch partially downloaded movies. When users restore Internet access, they can finish downloading the complete episode or movie and enjoy the remainder of it.
