National Doctor’s Day 2019: Thanks to our saviors
1 year ago
This saying must have always been heard that we can’t see God but ‘Doctor’ on earth is a form of God. Today is the National Doctor’s Day. Whose main purpose is to thank the physicians that they work hard for their patients and help them to emerge from the disease. There is no doubt that this is hard work which keeps all of us healthy and hence this day gives our doctors an opportunity to thank them.
National Doctor’s Day is celebrated to honor the famous doctor and second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, whose birth anniversary and death anniversary occur on the same day. This day is dedicated to the entire medical profession and exposes the value of the doctors in our lives. National Therapeutic Day was established in 1991 to honor Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy on 1st July every year by the Central Government.
The National Doctor’s Day 2019 theme is “Violence against doctors is zero tolerance and the establishment of the clinic”. The theme is announced every year by the Indian Medical Association. The theme will increase awareness about the violence happening with doctors across India. From 1 July to 8 July 2019, will also be celebrated as ‘Safe Fraternity Week’.
