NASA’s Voyager 2 has now become the second spacecraft to enter interstellar space

NASA launched a spacecraft named Voyager 2 in August 20, 1977, and after 4 decades Voyager 2 has crossed the elusive boundary that marks the edge of the Sun’s realm and starting of interstellar space. This makes voyager second man-made object that has entered in interstellar space.

What is Voyager 2?

Voyager 2 is a space probe launched by NASA on August 20, 1977, in order to study outer planets.  Voyager 2 is the part of the voyager program and it was launched 16 days before its twin, Voyager 1. Voyager 1 & 2 always stay connected through NASA deep Space Network.
