Today, on June 2, Mercedes Benz launched GLE 450 4MATIC LWB and 400 d 4MATIC LWB to the GLE SUV model line in India. The company is now offering two top-end variants – one each in petrol and diesel to the pre-existing model line in India.

Martin Schwenk, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India on his Instagram account shared the pictures with the caption ‘ LWB GLE 450 and 400 d launched today- a lot of power, torque, and legroom. And of course, made in India #AllKindsofStrength #restlessfortomorrow

Mercedes Benz GLE 450 4MATIC LWB and 400 d 4MATIC LWB are powered by BS 6 in-line six-cylinder engines. Its petrol variant has a maximum power output of 367 hp and peak torque of 500 Nm which adds another 22 hp to the total power output of 450 4MATIC. The GLE SUV can race to the 100kmph in just 5.7 seconds whereas the diesel variant also takes the exact time to hit 100 Kmph but offers 330 hp of max power and peak torque of 700 Nm. It is going to be the most powerful diesel engine in the history of Mercedes-Benz.
