JEE MAINS 2021: Exam will be held 4 times in 2021 in February, March, April, and May month

In a live session today, Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank mentioned that JEE MAINS will be held four times in the year 2021. February, March, April, and May are the four months in which JEE MAINS 2021 will be conducted.

Today in the morning, Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal wrote on his Twitter handle that “Thank you all for sharing your constructive suggestions regarding JEE (Main) exams. We have got your suggestions examined. I will be announcing the schedule, a number of times the exam will be held at 6 PM today. Stay tuned,”

According to the Education Minister, the student’s best of the 2021 NTA Scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking. Also, conducting JEE Mains four times in a year is a great opportunity for students to improve their scores if they fail to get good marks on the first attempt, or if they will not be able to give exam at first instance, so they can try in another three chances without wasting their academic year. He also announced that the JEE MAINS 2021 exam will be held in 13 regional languages for the very first time. The February term of JEE MAINS 2021 will be held from February 23 to 26. The dates for other months will be announced later on.

Changes in JEE MAINS 2021 Exam Pattern

In the JEE MAINS 2021 Exam pattern, there will be 90 multiple choice questions in which students have to attempt any 75 questions. There will not be any negative marking for the questions that have not been attempted by them.
