IPL: Chennai Jolted Again

After Lungisani Ngidi injury news, Chennai Super Kings has been shaken with another news of David Willey pulling out of the IPL 2019. David Willey came last year to the squad as a replacement for injured Kedar Jadhav and was retained by the franchise for 2019 season due to his good performance. But today he officially made clear that he won’t be joining CSK this year due to birth of his second child.

Earlier, he delayed his departure to India but now he has decided to cancel the plan. He is currently in Leeds, United Kingdom and is training with his county team Yorkshire. CSK has not yet named any replacement for Ngidi & need to find one for Willey.

Currently Chennai Super Kings have 6 Foreign players present in the squad but some of them will leave by the end of group stage due to International Commitments.
