In the 13th season of Dream 11 IPL 2020, the match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals took place in Sharjah on Friday. Delhi won the match by 46 runs. Delhi batted first and scored 184 runs. Chasing a target of 185 runs, Rajasthan were all out for just 138 runs in 19.4 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal of Rajasthan Royals scored 34 runs off 36 balls. Yashasvi is playing IPL for the first time. So far he has scored just 40 runs in 3 matches. This is the reason why some people are questioning about this young batsman. But, former cricketer and now commentator Akash Chopra defended the batsman.
None of the Rajasthan Royals batsmen could hold on to the crease for long and only Rahul Tewatia (38) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (34) were able to score respectable. For Delhi, Kagiso Rabada once again performed well and took three wickets. In the match, Ashwin took crucial wickets of Jos Buttler and Mahipal Lamarore and took two wickets for 22 runs in his four overs.
After winning the ‘Man of the Match’ award against Rajasthan Royals on Friday in IPL 2020, Delhi Capitals (DC) spinner Ravichandran Ashwin said that Jos Buttler’s wicket was very important. The Rajasthan Royals failed to chase down 185 and were all out for 138 runs. Delhi won by 46 runs.
After the match, Ashwin said that one important thing in this bowling attack is that most bowlers can bowl at any time. The credit goes to the team staff. I feel very good mentally and physically and it is really visible as well. I am enjoying it very much. I tried to express myself on the ground after making plans.
