IPL 2020: BCCI ANNOUNCES CRED AS OFFICIAL PARTNER FOR DREAM 11 IPL 2020

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Bangalore-based startup CRED as the official partner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. The three years deal between the CRED and the board will begin from the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League 2020 commencing from September 19 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). BCCI President Saurav Ganguly also congratulated the board on the deal.

Earlier in the IPL list of official sponsors, Gaming Platform Dream 11 was the title sponsor for the IPL 2020 edition for Rs. 222 crore. In addition with, Ultras, the online education platform UNACADEMY, PAYTM, and CEAT have also been linked as sponsors of the IPL 2020. Now, the name of CRED is also included in this list.

Prior to this deal, the IPL lost some sponsors. The Future Group, along with Chinese company Vivo, has withdrawn from IPL Associate Central Sponsorship.
