After the completion of quaterly meeting of ICC (International Cricket Council), it was made clearly by the governing body to BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) to get Tax exemption i.e. get Tax exemption which is a monetary exemption which reduces taxable income. If BCCI fails to get this done then India might lose the 2021 World T20 and 2023 Mens World Cup which as of now are going to be solely hosted by India.

But this move has not gone well with some BCCI officials. And if ICC does re-allocates the two tournament then it will be a financial burden for both BCCI & ICC. But this matter has almost 90% chance of getting solved if BCCI timely asks help from the Indian Government.
