On Sunday at Sydney Showground Stadium, South Africa won against the Pakistan women cricket team by 17 runs. South African women won the toss and choose to bat first and lose their first 3wickets at just 54 runs. But after that, Laura Wolvaardt played a good inning and scored 53 runs without losing her wicket. Due to her inning, South Africa scored 136 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 6 wickets.

Whereas, in chasing the score, Pakistan lost their wickets quickly, at just 18 runs they lost their 2 wickets and Pakistan team scored only 119 runs in the 20 overs and lose the match by 17 runs. With the help of this win, South Africa enters into the semi-final and Pakistan got out from the race of semi-final.
