On Monday, at Junction Oval, New Zealand Women won the toss and decided to bowl first. The bowlers gave a good start to New Zealand and took the first 2 wickets of Australia at just 52 runs. But after that, Beth Mooney (60) played a good inning and scored 52 runs together with the Gardner (20) for the third wicket. With the help of this partnership, Australia scored 155 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.
In reply, New Zealand women team also played well and scored 151 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. But in last they lose the match by just 4 runs. Georgia Wareham doing great bowling from the Australia side in the depth over and she takes 3 wickets in the 4 overs by giving just 17 runs. For this wonderful performance, she also awarded with the Man of the Match Award.s
