Today, wind energy is a mature and mainstream technology and one of the fastest-growing industrial sectors in the world with over $100 billion invested in 2015.

Wind plays a very important role and can be damaging as well as helpful for reproduction. Global wind day occurs on 15 June every year. Wind day discovers wind, its power to reshape our energy systems and decarbonize our economies. Global Wind Day was inaugurated in 2007 by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA).

How Electricity is produced from Wind Energy?

Wind energy refers to the process of creating electricity using the power of wind, which occurs naturally in the earth’s atmosphere. Wind farms have wind turbines that is used to produce wind energy. Wind turbines are connected to an electricity transmission network that allows them to deliver energy to other places. Wind energy is more effective than conventional fossil fuels to create energy, as the extraction of fossil fuels is done at a great environmental cost
