We all have heard ‘Health is wealth’ and to make it true in every sense, every year on April 7, World Health Day is celebrated. Its aim is to ensure maximum access to more and more people in the world by providing good health facilities. World Health Organization (WHO) held the first health assembly   on April 7, 1948 and after two years, in 1950, they started celebrating World  Health Day every year. The main purpose of the day is to make people aware about health.

WHO determines a theme every year on Health Day. This time, World Health Day theme is Universal Health coverage: Everyone, Everywhere. This means every person should get health care everywhere. That is, people of all classes get better health care without any financial difficulties. It includes the full spectrum of services needed throughout life—from health promotion to prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and palliative care—and is best based on a strong primary health care system.
