Deepika Padukone’s first look as Romi Dev from the movie 83 is out.  In the movie, Ranveer Singh is in the lead role as Kapil dev. A few months back makers have unveiled the first look of Ranveer Singh and other team members. In a new look, we can see Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone looking at each other happily and the actress has got short bob hairdo and Ranveer Singh is wearing the Indian cricket Team Blazer. Deepika Padukone shared the first look on Twitter with the caption:

“To play a small part in a film that captures one of the most iconic moments in sporting history has been an absolute honour!83 for me is an ode to every woman who puts her husband’s dream before her own…”  #ThisIs83.”

The story of 83 is based on the Indian cricket team win in 1983 world cup where India beat the tournament’s favorite West Indies, under the captainship of Kapil Dev who motivated his team to put in their best.  The movie is directed by Kabir Khan and jointly Produced by Kabir Khan, Phantom Films, Sajid Nadiadwala and Deepika Padukone. The star cast of the film includes Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Sahil Khattar, Chirag Patil, Harrdy Sandhu, and Boman Irani. The film is set to be on the screens on 10 April 2020.
