Dale Steyn Ruled Out!

In a trageic turn of events the South African Pacer Dale Steyn bowed out of the World Cup 2019 with a shoulder injury. This was supposed to be his last World Cup and ending on this note was not on cards. The shoulder injury was sustained during IPL when he was playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore as a replacement.

There is no official statement from Dale on his immediate future. This news was officially provided by the South African Team’s captain Faf Du Plessis. According to Du Plessis he was 60% fit before coming for World Cup and further he was adjugded 85% fit on Monday. Beuran Hendricks was named his replacement, the left-hander has taken 1 wicket in 2 matches so far after debuting in January this year.
