COVID 19 Update: HRD Ministry Launches “Yukti” Portal for students

Union Human Resource Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has launched a web portal ‘YUKTI’ – (Young India Combating COVID with knowledge, technology, and innovation) on Sunday. The web portal YUKTI is launched with an aim to monitor initiatives taken by its various departments and academic institutions. The portal will record efforts of institutions in academics and research, social initiatives by institutions and measures taken for the betterment of students during COVID 19 pandemic.

What is Yukti Portal?

Talking about this, the Union Minister said that in view of the danger of COVID-19, our primary objective is to keep our academic community physically and mentally healthy and create a high-quality learning environment for the students. He added, “This portal is an effort of the Ministry of Human Resource Development to achieve this goal in this difficult time.” This portal will cover qualitative and quantitative parameters to provide excellent service to the academic community. Through this portal, institutions will be able to share their strategies for various challenges.

He also said, “We are confident that this portal will help in student promotion policies, placement challenges and important issues related to the physical and mental wellbeing of students in this challenging time.”
