CLAT 2021 Postponed due to COVID 19 surge; Registration Date Extended

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-2021)  that was scheduled to be held on June 13, 2021, has been postponed due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the country.  According to officials, the New date of the admission test will be notified in due course.

Furthermore, the last date for submission of online application for CLAT 2021 has also been extended to June 15, 2021.

The Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of the representative universities, after reviewing the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country and keeping in view of health and safety of all students appearing for CLAT, the Committee decided to postpone the CLAT 2021 admission test scheduled on June 13.

CLAT exam is conducted for admission to the five-year Bachelor’s Degree (LLB) course and Masters Degree (LLM) course at various National Law Universities (NLUs) located across the country. Earlier also CLAT 2021 was postponed from May 9 to June 13 due to CBSE Board exams dates getting clash with the proposed date.
