The Mahindra Scorpio BS6 can be booked by going to Mahindra’s website by giving a token amount of Rs 5000. The SUV was planned to be launched after the first lockdown, but the company already launched it viewing the market conditions. The Mahindra Scorpio BS6 has been introduced in 4 variants – S5, S7, S9, and S11. Earlier Mahindra Scorpio BS4 model was available in two variants – S3 and S11 AWD. The company has discontinued both these models. Now the S5 has become the entry-level variant of the Scorpio.

Mahindra has discontinued the entry-level variant S3 of the Scorpio as well as its 2.5-liter diesel engine. This engine was producing 75bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The new Scorpio BS6 SUV will get a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine. This engine offers two types of power output – one with 120Nhp power with 280Nm torque and 40bhp power with 320Nm torque. Each variant of the new Scorpio BS6 will get different features.
