As the lockdown has extended in the nation till May 17 but green and orange zone will get some ease from restrictions and economic activities will resume there. The ease in the lockdown period does not mean the COVID-19 pandemic is over or there is no threat of Coronavirus in your zone. It is therefore advisable to continue following all necessary precautions as the risk of the coronavirus will not fade away immediately.

Ease in lockdown restrictions will not necessarily mean that the coronavirus outbreak is over and you don’t need to follow personal hygiene practices. One must wash hands after coming from outside and after touching frequently-touched surfaces. Maintain your respiratory hygiene while in public. The reason behind the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases worldwide is because of coughing and sneezing droplets, so cover your mouth with a tissue while coughing or sneezing. If unable to wash hands, use an alcohol-based sanitizer. Practicing hygiene will not only prevent coronavirus but can also keep several other diseases at bay.

Avoid throwing large parties at home or attending a family function immediately after lockdown. After a large number of asymptomatic COVID-19 cases coming up, you might never know who is infected and who is not. It is better to continue practicing social distancing even after lockdown ends. Better to stay at home and be safe.

You might be dying to chill and party in a club with your friends. Well, for all the party freaks visiting crowded places like café and clubs can increase the risk of the disease. Thus, it is better to avoid meeting your friends for a while.

Life will not suddenly return to normal once the lockdown ends, so it is better to take the necessary precautions. You will still need to be careful and take care of your health, as the risk of contracting COVID-19 infection will remain.
